CCC Steel GmbH & Co. KG is the new name of one of the oldest German International Steel Traders. Originally founded in 1895, the company has since been known world-wide under the name "COUTINHO CARO + CO" and today is one of the leading independent international steel trading companies. Our head offices have always been in Hamburg, Germany, a city connected through its port to world trading for centuries.

CCC Steel GmbH & Co. KG is a joint venture, established between CCC International Trading GmbH, a subsidiary of MPC Münchmeyer Petersen & Co. GmbH, Hamburg, Germany, who act as traders, owners of a shipping company and providers of financial services since 1846, and Grupo VILLACERO, Monterrey, Mexico, an important Mexican steel producer, whose activities, based on fully integrated Steel Mills, include production, distribution, and warehousing of steel products.

Throughout the decades our target and ambition, based on a long standing tradition, remain unchanged, namely to be a specialist low-cost provider of services for both - producers and consumers of steel products - world-wide.
